How to make OPD  your start up page!

Make newsandinfo.org/surf Your Start-Up Page! Why have your web browser automatically default to somewhere other than newsandinfo.org? Now you can make OPD your browser’s start-up page in less than one minute. This way every time you get on the web, the OPD home page will automatically load and be the first site you see! (or to bookmark any portal page from newsandinfo.org hit Control D)

• Microsoft Internet Explorer
  1. Go to Online Portals start page
  2. Click "View" on menu bar
  3. Click "Options"
  4. Select "Start and Search Pages" tab
  5. Click button "Use Current" then click "Apply"
  6. You may do this for both Start and Search Pages
• Netscape Communicator 4.01
  1. Click "Edit" on menu bar
  2. Click "Preferences"
  3. Click the "Home Page" radio button
  4. In the "Location" text-entry box, enter "http://www.newsandinfo.org/surf"

• Netscape 3.0
  1. Click "Options" on menu bar
  2. Click "General Preferences..."
  3. Select "Appearance" tab
  4. In the "Startup" section, click the "Home Page Location" button
  5. In the "Startup" section, enter "http://www.newsandinfo.org/surf" in the text-entry box.
